I have search for hours looking for free and paid software and still nothing with the pass2 and mb limit, speed,ease of use, or reliability. Nothing can touch this program in my opinion. I use Ripbot264 1.13.3 and the latest ffdshow (ffdshowrev283220090328clsid), I have ripped the BD disk to my HD using AnyDVD HD 6.5.3.1 and then I opened up the stream and selected to use 2-Pass 6144 KBPS, automatically crop, custom size 1280 x 532. I have used Coreavc codec with similar results= 31.44fps pass1/10.98fps pass2 vista64bit. Ripbot goes FAST!And most of all I am using Windows 7 RC 32bit and with the new integrated codecs and gpu utilization embedded in W7 it is even faster than vista32bit and only uses about 89% cpu! Pass1 was a consistent 32.88 fps and pass2 was consistant 13.78 fps at 1080p 8140mb5.1ac3. Just for the Tech side of things, I recently built a new pc with a core i7 920 2.67ghz cpu, Corsair Dominator DDR3 pc1600 3gb, Asus Matrix GTX260 DDR3 876mb video, Silverstone 700watt psu, Corsair RAID0 SSD 64gbx2 drives.
